China Sky Eye, officially the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST), sits in a natural karst depression in Guizhou, China, and is the world’s largest single-dish radio telescope. From 2011 to 2026, JURUN participated in supplying part of the project’s construction material as well as its later maintenance material. The scope was characterized by high precision, small-batch lots, and high strength — requirements met with bespoke, custom-engineered high-strength alloy tube.
